Carving Pumpkins with Daddy

Fun with Quincy

I've been having technical difficulties, so hopefully this blog will work. I spent hours yesterday trying to unfreeze my computer and in the end, I lost my blog and all the darling pictures I took of the kids carving pumpkins with their Daddy. Ugghhh!! So. . .if this one works, enjoy Quincy and Emma playing together and drinking like kids (goats). The one of Quincy licking the eggbeater was my attempt at becoming his favorite aunty by giving him a beater of frosting! :) He loved it!! Posted by Picasa

Darling Uncle Don

This is Mom blogging on Angela's blog. It was so fun to visit with Uncle Don last Thursday. He was doing very well as you can see. What a blessing that he didn't have to linger in a coma or something. He was so happy to see us. Saturday, I visited again with Angela and family, Camille and Quincy and although he was coherent and again, happy to see us, he was a little more confused and much weaker. I am so grateful we visited him so much those last days. How we will miss him at family gatherings! Posted by Picasa

GOOD NEWS!!!

Batman can go to school!! Brinn was right, since the mask doesn't cover his whole face, he can wear it! YIPPEE!! *** Even better news, I emailed Blogger Help to fix my formatting and they told me what was wrong and fixed it! Things should look better now. Posted by Picasa

Wearing the new shirts

Hey Mom, I just wanted to let you see how handsome the boys look in their new shirts! They're quite the pair! I love how much they love each other!

Just a preview of a costume we picked up for Gehrig. Sad thing is, he probably won't be able to wear it to school b/c of the mask (I got a note from the school the day after I bought this costume that masks aren't allowed. Duh, I should have realized that.). It doesn't work without it. Any ideas how to make it work without the mask? [The way the mask frames his eyes makes his eyes stand out and I realize how beautiful his big brown eyes are!] Posted by Picasa

Thank You Grammie & Grampie!

The boys were tickled with their new Yellowstone shirts their grandparents sent them! They had fun opening the package together. They wanted to wear them, but I convinced them to wait until tomorrow so they can wear them all day! THANK YOU!!! :)

Little Miss Big Britches!

Emma was thrilled when I remembered to pull out the car for her to push around. She's having a blast walking it all around the living room. She'll probably be walking in no time as she gains confidence with the car.

I love it that she's old enough to enjoy playing with her toys. She pulls everything off the shelves and will play with them for quite a while by herself.

The weather here as been my FAVORITE!! I love the rain, the colors of the leaves changing, the perfect 70 something degree weather! The other day while the boys and I were eating, I noticed a full rainbow just over our neighbors' homes. By the time I grabbed my picture, half of it had faded, but it was beautiful nonetheless! Posted by Picasa

Conference Weekend!!

Does is have to be over so soon? We LOVED being together for Conference weekend. Gehrig said he liked watching church on TV. The boys were amazingly good. We had a great time together. The boys had a blast inbetween sessions (or was it after, I can't remember now) helping/watching their daddy shoot off this rocket. It is so rewarding to see them having fun with Lou. I didn't get any pictures of it, but we took a couple of bike rides together as well (collected leaves and everything). What a rejuvenating weekend!! :)

I love this picture of the boys coloring with Lou while listening/watching conference! Posted by Picasa
