Our Beautiful Children!!

If you can see this picture up really close, it looks like we have brown, blue and green eyed children! I haven't figured out Emma's eyes, but they look really green in this picture.

The Big Sink at the Little Cabin

This is a favorite spot for a bath. Emma finally has a picture in the tub. I have one of Gehrig when he's younger, but that was before the digital camera. Posted by Picasa

How Do Ya' Like My Black Eye?

I just wanted to know what it was like. My boys keep getting black eyes, etc., so why not I? Okay, so I was walking out of the little cabin with Emma in my arms and Camille pointed something out and I looked and kept walking. Oops! Before I knew it, Emma & I were on the ground. I walked right into the support pole on the porch. I wish I had taken pictures earlier. This is a week old. It's cool; I only have to worry about makeup on the other eye! Posted by Picasa

Could He BE More Excited?!!?!!

Grammie & Grandpa, I think that hug was meant for you! He and Gehrig just kept expressing, "I LOVE my Grammie! I LOVE my Grandpa!" What a fun birthday package! THANKS!!! Posted by Picasa

Final Birthday Pictures. . .

Damian got a package from his Grammie & Grandpa, and boy was he excited (Gehrig too!). I love the excitement in his face when he recognized his name on the package. And I love how Gehrig is using his foot to help Damian open his package (they didn't want my help).

Our final activity on his birthday was to go out to eat and let the boys play in the play zone. We fed Emma too. Can you see it on her face? Posted by Picasa

Damian's 4th Birthday!

We (the boys and I) made a dinosaur cake yesterday together for Damian. He started his day out this morning with his breakfast of choice (waffles with strawberry cream, ham, eggs & cantaloupe). Then (before Lou went off to work), we sang to him and had him blow out the candles and open a gift from Gehrig (the Spiderman shirt).

The kids are having fun with Daddy learning how to use Damian's new playdough toy (food molds). Posted by Picasa

YOU'VE GOT MAIL!!

Auntie Katie is always so cute to send cards, etc. to the kids! Look at how excited the boys are when they discover the mail is for them!

Having fun with the frisbee Katie gave Damian. Posted by Picasa

More Pictures from Damian's 4th Birthday

Gehrig is giving Damian & Emma hugs from Auntie Katie (as instructed in her letter to him.)

Our ward was so kind to give us a Christmas this year. We felt that the boys were given too much, so we hung on to these gifts and finally decided to bring them out for the boys. What a hit! They were so excited. You can see it in their faces.

After our fun morning (breakfast, playing with playdough and trucks), we went to the park for lunch. Then, our good friends, the Mendez family (MaryLynn, Annie, Alex & Kimberly) joined us at the theater for a movie (The Wild). We came back to the house for cake and ice cream. We told them not to bring a gift, but they did anyway and it was such a fun gift. It's a neat learning book with buttons that speak in English and Spanish (Dora the Explorer). There are games, writing boards (with a dry erase marker), etc. Posted by Picasa

Why is the Format of My Blog so Messed Up?

Well, if anybody has any ideas, I've tried several things to make the layout work out better and I just can't get it right. I don't know why things aren't lining up correctly. I create them one way and they view another. Aarrggg!! Sorry for the mess!

My Baby's Growing Up! (TOO FAST!)

Isn't she cooperative? I just thought I'd share a picture of her first tooth and the one next to it that's going to come up any day now. Now we have to be VERY careful around her mouth. She BITES!! And it HURTS!! Posted by Picasa

Celebrating Damian's 4th Birthday!

Posted by Picasa

Damian's birthday is actually on Wednesday, August 2nd, but we celebrated as a family on Saturday by going to the pool. Gehrig's latest and greatest fun is playing with his little sister. You can see what fun he has with her. I couldn't get Damian to cooperate for a picture fast enough (I was afraid of ruining my camera in the water), so this shot was unfortunately the best I got of him. As you can see, Lou really meant it when he said he didn't want to swim. He paid to get in and then sat there and watched us play for a little over an hour. We were glad he came with us. Emma enjoyed the water as well.

These are our friends from Vegas that are considering moving here to Utah within the next year or so. Kevin and his four kids are camping out in a home in West Jordan that they had built while Angela, his wife, is working in Vegas for the next 2 weeks. He teaches/coaches and has a 2 week break between semesters. I had to take a picture of them when I saw them all piled up on top of him. So cute! Kierra (10), Jaxon (7), Mitchell (6), Tony (2)
