Emma the Movie Star!!

Emma and I had some fun today as we participated in the making of a commercial for a Melaleuca Prenatal Vitamin. She was the brilliant baby of a mother who used the vitamin (I assume). I guess it's an email commercial, so you won't see her on TV. I'll let you know when they have it all put together and how you can view it! They gave her this darling little Care Bear that sings the alphabet song. She beamed when it started singing and hugged it tight. She was a perfect little actress today! She missed her nap to do her first paying job and didn't even show signs of being tired. Now, with the thumb in her mouth, you know that she's a bit worn out! (B/c otherwise, she wouldn't be sucking her thumb, right? I wish!!) Posted by Picasa

More fun in the snow!

Apparently, snow tastes really good!

Is that a happy baby or what? Actually, she really pitched a fit when I had to bring her inside. She really wanted to stay outside and eat the snow!

Damian, never quite willing to cooperate for the picture as a group! He too was eating snow.

Snow angels & snowmen! It was a very rough attempt at a quick snowman for Emma. She was intrigued. Posted by Picasa

Fun in the Snow!

After that beautiful day where we didn't need more than a jacket, we got quite the storm. The kids had a blast playing in the snow--until they got cold and then all of a sudden, "I hate the snow!" Emma was the only one not complaining and because her boots were too big, all she could do was sit in the snow and eat it! I found that they really don't hate the snow, when several hours later, they were ready to go out and tackel it again. This time, they were smarter and came in before they thought they were going to freeze to death!

Take note of how much snow is on the trampoline. We received several inches of snow that day. Whenever it snows like this, I send the boys out to save the trampoline. With a little help from a couple of brooms and me, they got it cleaned off.

Yes, Gehrig's feeding Emma snow. She loved it! Posted by Picasa

Random Times. . .

The boys bought the golf green for their Daddy for Christmas. The whole family took advantage of a beautiful day a couple of weekends ago to break it in for him.

We just finished babysitting our neighbor's hermit crab, Handsome. The kids had fun admiring him in Lou's hand.

I was outside helping Lou with something for a mintue and came in to find my kids all playing together (making a mess, but having a blast). I love it when all three of them seem to be able to play on the same level. Posted by Picasa

Valentine's Day!

What a fun day we all had. My day started with a little "hide & seek" from Lou. He sent me an email message to let me know that if I went to the back of the van, I'd find a little something from him. It was this huge chocolate kiss! I was impressed with his creativity and forethought! Damian and I were then able to go to Gehrig's class to help with his Valentine's Day party. They both had a great time making crafts and exchanging valentines. We had a heart pizza for dinner, story from Daddy and sugar cookies. The kids were in bed near 7PM and Lou and I were able to enjoy some quiet time together. It was a fun day! Isn't Gehrig's homemade valentine cute? He did a great job.

The newest member of our Family, Flipper Jones Harris, Jr.

The boys decided to put their money together and buy a Beta fish with their allowance. Gehrig named him Flipper Jones Harris, Jr. We're all enjoying him! Posted by Picasa

Emma loves to read, just like the rest of her family!

We have to really watch her, because she loves to climb up on these chairs and stand straight up--all by her independent little self!

I just think she looked so cute in her Cinderella dress and fluffy coat on Sunday! Actually, the funniest thing happened during Sunday School. I came in late and found Lou, but couldn't see Emma. He had let her wander to the other end of the room. I noticed one of her shoes under the table up front. I leaned over to Lou and said, "Looks like Cinderella lost her shoe." A minute after I said that, a little boy in our ward (just a couple months older), discovered her shoe. He picked it up, sought her out and tried to put it on her. It looked like Prince Charming had found his Cinderella. Several noticed the exchange and giggled over it! Posted by Picasa

The Beat Box

I'm testing my new camera's ability to make videos. I'm sorry if it doesn't work. It's the boys laughing at their Daddy doing the "beat box" to "Popcorn Popping!" Posted by Picasa

One of Emma's Favorite Spots!

Yes, I figured I should show you where Emma loves to hang out. The other day, she took the glass lid off my rice cooker. Lou noticed and asked me, "Will she break that if she drops it?" I turned my head to see what he was referring to, reached to grab it, JUST as she dropped it. Shattered it in a million pieces. Luckily, she wasn't hurt and Lou found a replacement lid at DI the very next day! What a guy! :) Posted by Picasa
