Emma is 2 months old!

Well, Emma turned 2 months old last week and I finally decided to take her in for her 2 month check-up. She is doing wonderfully well! She weighs 11.4 pounds (50 % for her age) and is 23 1/2 inches long (75%). She's my biggest baby so far--very healthy! By the way, this outfit says, "D is for. . .Daddy's Pride." I think Lou would agree! :)

Gehrig and Damian took turns holding Emma tonight. I'm sorry I didn't get a picture with Gehrig. I love it when the boys show so much interest in their little sister!


 

Scripture Study

Tonight, Gehrig decided to lead the scripture study. He had the book upside down and was "reading" (with hand expressions as you can see) to his younger siblings, "Nephi was told to build a ship. . .and Abinadi. . .etc." I love how attentive Damian and Emma were to him.

The Brown Family

Curtis and Lana are missing from their family picture. I love Brown family pictures b/c it's just so amazing how many of them there are. And that's without spouses and children!! Pretty neat!

Lindsey & Travis Chant

Mom & I attended Lindsey Brown's wedding yesterday. They were a beautiful couple, as you can see. It was a beautiful wedding and day! I wish my camera would have been able to capture how beautiful her dress was. Aunt Mary made it up--what an amazing woman!

Kimberly took some wonderful pictures of Emma while we were in Idaho last. I waited to put them up on the Blog because I wanted to surprise Lou with them. Then, I forgot that I hadn't put them on the Blog. She's an amazing photographer. It's so fun to have these pictures!

2 Months Old

I sure am glad that I'm trying on her 3-6 month old clothes. They fit her! :) 

An Incredible Big Brother

Gehrig loves to watch his little sister. Today, he begged me to let him hold her during his quiet time. I told him to let me know when he got tired of holding her. She started crying and I came in to get her, but he still wanted to hold her. I am amazed at the patience of a 5 year old boy. I let him try to console her for several minutes because he really wanted to make her happy. He never tired of holding her even when she was crying as loud as this pictures shows. She was just tired, so I had to take her away and lay her down in her crib. She went right to sleep. What a sweet brother!
