Daddy Doggy Pile--Or Something Like That!

Posted by PicasaWhen Lou came home the other day, the boys jumped up on his back. He let them do it, so I thought I might get a picture with them ALL on him, but that was a bit too much. This last picture at least shows Emma & Isaiah and their interest in their daddy. It's amazing to think all four of these children are OURS! YIKES!

Emma's Braids

Posted by PicasaI've been anxiously awaiting the day when I can do something more than pigtails in Emma's hair. Well, it's almost arrived--almost! She sat quite still while I did these French braids, but they only stayed in for a few minutes. Bummer! She's really started getting into her "baby" lately, carrying him around, putting him to bed, feeding him, etc. It's so cute to see this side of her!

Halloween Fun Begins

The cutest Sylvester you've ever seen, right??

We went to a Halloween party at the Fitness Center on Saturday. It was a bit crazy, but the kids had fun and it didn't take too long for the parents! :) They learned some Halloween safety tips, saw a bunch of people in costume and went trick-or-treating! Damian was supposed to go as Spiderman, but her preferred his raccoon costume. Emma was Bugs Bunny to go with Isaiah in his Sylvester costume! And of course, Gehrig was a handsome Batman.

Quincy & Emma

Camille took these pictures, so it's not my fault that I'm blogging her darling son with a headband on! :) We were impressed with how much fun Emma & Quincy always seem to have together (unless they get tired). It's so fun to have close cousins!!

Meeting Katelynn

It was so fun to have Camille come and visit this weekend! Katelynn is darling!! It's just hard to imagine that Isaiah started out smaller than Katelynn is right now. Look at how much he's grown in the last 4 months! They were so cute together. The first time they met was on the blanket right here. When they saw each other, they just grinned. It was so darling!

Can YOU get 4 children to look pleasant all at the same time??

Posted by PicasaI'm impressed that we even got these 4 pictures! Camille took the pictures, while I tried to keep Isaiah alive and everybody smiling. What a challenge!! I'm putting together an online scrapbook of the children and wanted a picture of just the four children together.

Isaiah, Back by Popular Demand!

I have really slacked on the picture taking of this darling little son of ours. So. . .I caught a few fun pictures of the doll this afternoon. Isn't he a charmer?

I don't think I've put any of my babies in this and had any success until they were closer to 6 months, but Isaiah sits up and scoots himself around in this walker amazingly well at 4 months.

This is why I keep having babies! Look at the adoration in his eyes! I love the way he looks at me and loves me unconditionally.

Challenge Course 4

You need to read the following Blog about Gehrig and zipline to get this. . .
Posted by PicasaHere are pictures of other BRAVE souls who did the zipline!! (Lou, Mom, Dad, Angela, Carli, Mom, Lou, Angela & Gehrig in order from left to right)

Gehrig & the Zipline!

Our family reunion was held at the Heber Valley Girl's Camp (an amazingly wonderful camp with all kinds of accommodations--the best camping you could imagine!). Anyway. . .they have a challenge course that we were able to experience as a family. These pictures are of Gehrig climbing the TALL pole, walking across the wire and sliding down the zipline. Notice how high up he is! You should see it from the top!
When he got to the top, he made the mistake of looking down. He was terrified. Luckily for me, I was too far away taking pictures to see the gigantic tears that dropped from his terrified face and hit the ground MANY feet below (my mom said it made HER cry to see him so scared). But, he listened to his instructor and followed her directions, walked across the line and made it to the other side.
I'm so glad that I was able to capture his smile as he came down the zipline. This was quite the accomplishment for him (and me as I later did it too) and he talked about it for days after.
Posted by PicasaHere he is, running the line back to the man on the top getting people ready for the zipline!

Hansen Family Reunion

Emma is still the most photographed child in the universe. I feel bad that I don't have more of the other children, but the camera really loves her right now!! :) Lou let her drive his Tracker a few feet (don't worry, there isn't an airbag!). She saw herself in the reflection of Uncle Stafford's truck (I think it was his truck) and kissed it! She's trying to convince me that she can sleep on the top bunk in our cabin! And she's playing with her Great-Great Uncle Wayne!

You know how I love games! I think I've created a domino player! Damian loves to play Dominos for "Mommy Time" (newly implemented 20 minutes of Mamma's undivided attention per child). I love this shot with him.
Playing with my Great-Unlce Wayne who taght me Dominos for the first time and his wife, Aunt Marilyn (across from me) and my lovely grandmother (leaning closest to the table).
